The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere has a welcoming family feel to it. The portions sizes are good the quality is second to none. I ended up going 3 times in one weeks stay in Madeira as there was nothing else that got close to how great Rubi's is. Highly recommend by my taxi driver apparently rated good on Trip advisor.

This place has got the best sandwiches I have ever had, they can even make a sandwich exactly to your liking and it doesn’t cost any less money than their usual... read more This place has got the best sandwiches I have ever had, they can even make a sandwich exactly to your liking and it doesn’t cost any less money than their usual sandwich. Rubi also has got the best food out of every snack bar on Madeira, I’ve been here for a few weeks and I have been going to Rubi for breakfast every single day. The management is nice, the place is clean and usually very calm, and the service is fast, especially on weekdays, although, it’s normal for them to get busier at the end of the day, on Fridays or during the weekend. Anyways, love this place.
