Ristorante & Pizzeria Avenida Terrace Lda

Good restaurant, nice food and friendly waiters. Can recommend their pizza! Didn’t bring in a lot of people so the waiters are very attentive!

Had a pleasant meal here , we chose the tourist menu which is 17.95 euro's for three courses and a drink . I read some average reviews about this place , but it is nice with good food . I also read on tripadvisor that some one had been over charged so I checked my bill and the same happened to me , when I queried it they apologised and amended the bill.

Had special burgers here one lunchtime. Food good and good price. but waited ages for it. Nearly walked out.

Had dinner here tonight, had the T bone steak which was excellent, other meal was a hamburger which came with egg and ham which wasn't ordered but no problem getting it changed. Reasonable prices and would recommend.

We visited this restaurant on the main road at the top of Funchal and were pleasantly surprised. The menu was varied with both local and general dishes available, the house wine was good and the service excellent. Price wise, it depends on what you order, but we were pleasantly surprised after 3 courses, wine and coffee, to be presented with a bill for €45 for the 2 of us. I would certainly visit this restaurant again should I be in Funchal. Address is Avenida do Infante 62 and it is located on the main road out of Funchal centre just past the park.
