There are two roads leasing here of which the Caminho do Meio is very steep. There is a parking opposite of the restaurant with enough parking spots. The staff is very friendly and we were helped by Naseer who was helpful, had humor and made sure we were satisfied from our starter to our leave. The food is very good and rich in garlic. I had a bread soup in which a pepper was hidden, but I managed to find it in the first bite. A tasty soup and not too heavy. For the main course my girlfriend had a veal steak and I had the meat platter with sausage, veal, pork and chicken. It was nice to have different tastes and the meat was nicely grilled on the charcoal grill. The view from the roof and the big windows is beautiful, especially when the sun sets over Funchal. Definitely worth visiting during the holiday on Madeira.

The food was fine but not the reason I’d recommend the place. I had the tuna and that was probably the best dish that we got. Go up on the rooftop for an even better view.
