Jard.in Magnólia - Funchal

We arrived late for our booking (we got lost en route! but the staff were absolutely lovely (we did ring to apologise on the way . The food was of excellent quality, the service brilliant and it was really good value for money too. The entire experience was fabulous we will definitely be back.

Lovely service beautiful food and great quiet location

The ambience is simply lovely. The restaurant (which is very clean) sits in beautiful gardens. The staff are attentive and the food of high quality. We will go back.

This was the second time in the week that we visited this restaurant. The location is beautiful and the food excellent. It was surprising that there were so few people there. There were about 3 or 4 tables outside occupied, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. I had the steak with a truffle sauce and it was perfectly cooked and was delicious. The desserts were also delicious. I will definitely return when we are in Madeira next year.

This is the first time we visited this restaurant and it will certainly not be the last. It was really quiet and given the quality of food I was surprised that there were no more people there. It's hidden, so maybe that's the reason. We were a party of 3 and we all thought the food was great. I had descôte and it was beautifully cooked, just as desired. The accompanying sauce was full of taste The desserts were also delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
