a really wonderful experience eating in vivaldi. the reception of carlos is so real and warm. the service of all his colleagues is exceptional and of course the most important of all food is only wonderful and excellent. look at the paintings hanging around the restaurant as they are also exceptional and are the works of carlos, an artist in so many areas. Nice enough restaurant but menu’s is very traditional Italian. No pizza and very limited pasta. Food was ok but nothing special. Had the chicken tortellini which had a decent sauce but very bland. Partner had lamb shank that was decent portion but just lacked lamb flavour. Staff were great and service was fine. Place just needs a bit of modernisation. View all feedback.
Nice restaurant, service and the food was fantastic. But the Maracuja (Passion Fruit) mille Feuilles was the best Mille Feuilles i’ve ever had. It was so good, i was tempted to order a second one. We will definitely be going back when we return to Madeira.
Super food and service. lovely ambiance made for apleasant evening
We visit this restaurant regularly when we are in Funchal. It's one of our favorite places to eat. The service is excellent, the staff are attentive, but not intrusive, and the food really delicious. We find the special menu that contains wines and all courses on 42euros really good value. You can choose from the entire menu. Definitely worth a visit.
