Frango definitely does not fall into this category as it still possess local charm and cuisine. The food was great, service fine and price reasonable. Had the BBQ chicken was very tasty (had the full portion and finished it and chips (small portion and couldn't finish them! . I'm definitely going back so that will be twice in the one week. A highly recommended escape from the uninspired competitors.

The first day I had half a frango and half a slab of spare ribs, the latter cooked exactly how I prefer it, too fried from raw state instead of boiling it first. Another day I had a delicious Picanha there, but the dish superceding all was the grilled Bacalhau with onions, garlic and whole potatoes. So perfectly salted, cooked and generally prepared, and it was a quite huge portion as well. The best I've had in a restaurant! Finally, I must not forget their heavenly Pudim de Maracuja, the passion fruit pudding. All of it herewith highly recommended.
