Been coming here for 10 years or so now and the standard is always high and never drops. Been here again tonight and have had a terrific welcome and fantastic food and drink. I urge you all to come here if you can. Let the waiter choose the wine and you choose the food. You will enjoy yourself here in a friendly and relaxed environment where they take your enjoyment seriously and personally

Whenever we visit Funchal, we always have to go to Beef Wines, it has been amazing every time we have gone! We always have the sliced picanha, I love the sweet potatoes and cabbage to go with it and then chocolate mouse with a sweet maderia wine to finish is sublime. If you are in funchal and enjoy eating incredible meat, would defiantly recommenced you go. My vegan friends probably wouldn't enjoy it though.
