The shared starte... read more This is one of our very special restaurants in Funchal which we visit regularly. My filet steak this evening was superb with a mushroom sauce. The shared starter of filled potato skins was excellent and the finale of a lit zambucca crème caramel sensational. We’ll be back soon.

The food was amazing and everyone working in the restaurant was so nice we even celebrated my sisters birthday here! For food i would recommend the shrimps in garlic, bolo do caco and the rodizio. This is definitely a 10/10 restaurant!!

My wife prefers fish so she had scabbard fis... read more What a pleasure to be back in Funchal and to eat in one of our favourite restaurants there. I had steak on a stone. My wife prefers fish so she had scabbard fish with prawns. One of the plus points of this restaurant is that you get to choose your own vegetables or salad. We ate early 19:00 this time, so it was relatively quiet on a Wednesday evening. It does pick up and get livelier after 20:00. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you.
