beautiful restaurant in best location. the staff was great, eating was very good, but it was Saturday night and they were very busy. we waited 15 minutes for our table to order a long time and longer time between the curses. some of the dishes were not quite as described on the menu and I got the impression that they were overbooked. so my advice would not go on Saturday night. After eating last year in forte and an excellent meal I had expected to have a similar experience while the service was pretty good, we were disappointed by the quality of the food. the tuna carpaccio starter, while beautifully presented on the plate was tasteless and our main courses duck and beef tornado were both hard. we shared a dessert that was excellent. We booked an early dinner to celebrate my friends birthday. We had the special concept where you could choose from the Al a carte, wine with every course, coffee and petit fours! All for o it 49.95 Euros each. We had a lovely time and we’re well looked after!
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was of a very high standard. Can’t wait to go back again in the near future.
Superb meal in evocative setting. Helpful staff went out of their way to cater for my wife’s dietary requirements and helpfully escorted us to our taxi with an umbrella during a sudden downpour! Meal was fantastic, service attentive, a very special evening.
Absolutely fabulous! Had the wine inclusive menu. Very good value. Good lovely. Staff exceptional!
