Lugar muito bonito, com um serviço muito bom, pena a comida não estar ao nível do resto, se melhorasse a qualidade da comida acredito que podia ter ainda mais sucesso como negócio
Terrible attitude from staff. They forgot to make our order and we waited over an hour for for it with a hungry child. No one bothered to come to check on our table in these 70 minutes, until we had to ask them ourselves. When we complained they never apologised and just threw some stale cheese and garlic bread and behaved like it’s not their problem. Having asked them if they are going to provide any discount for their shortcomings, the “manager” shrugged her shoulders and said she didn’t see why she would. At this point we chose to leave this place that likes money much more than anything.
Excelente arroz de polvo! Serviço atencioso.
A comida nao estava quente e a qualidade não era grande coisa
We found this restaurant only by going down the street. we knew it had to be popular with locals, as the menu was only Portuguese. the waitress was able to translate it in English for us. the portion sizes were more than enough for us and we would probably have ordered the half of what we did and had been well fed. we shared the speciality of grilled pork and the Madeira speciality of bark on one spits while one of our party had fish (ked). I did not try the fish, but the meat was delicious, especially the black. After a round coffee we were brought a drink on the house. the price was also reasonable, five of us shared a bill with two bottles of wine. the restaurant is not located in a tourist opposite of funchal, but it is worth when they are over.
