Also went for an evening meal and this is an underrated place with innovative fresh food at a good price, staff were friendly and was a nice place to sit. Would recommend!

We had just a small meal of veg curry (delicious! and starter of bread, olive oil and 2 spreads. Excellent value. It began to get busier after 8pm and we were the only people there at 7:30 pm. Sometimes I have seen music there in the evening but not the night we went. It was very pleasant atmosphere, with nice not-live music and food, while still being casual and unfussy. Probably more lively in the daytime. Lovely place to just chill.

The specials change daily and the wine/drinks selection is very good. Nice offering of vegetarian options. I appreciated that the vegetarian options were more than just an 'after thought ' that someone felt obligated to put on the menu, but rather, something that they were proud to serve.. We sat outside with a lovely view of a church. The service was excellent. We reserved a table at 1230 and were the only people there at first, but the restaurant quickly filled for lunch. I would definitely recommend booking a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a table.
