The host was welco... read more Funchal is not short of good places to eat, it’s a great place all round. We have had two lovely meals in this family run Italian restaurant. The host was welcoming and the fact that it was overflowing with returning guests says it all. No fuss home cooked meals at a good price. Highly recommended

The scabba... read more Been staying at the hotel above and have been watching how popular this restaurant is. Booked an outside table for our last night and so glad we did. The scabbard fish dish was amazing and came with a variety of tasty sides , I was blown away by the colours and tastes on my plate. The meat skewer, chips and salad was equally tasty and even with drinks it was less than 20 euros a head. All the staff were super friendly and cheerful. A great experience thank you.
