I love the similar kind of sandwich which in New York is typically served on a bagel, and couldn 't resist ordering this item even though it didn 't really fit in with the rest of our dinner. I 'm not certain it counts as traditional Madeiran cuisine, but it was delicious. I think it would be great for a quick lunch!

When I asked why the waitress told me “woman... read more The food was cheap and we decide to sit. I was with 3 guys and they received a menu, they gave to me one different. When I asked why the waitress told me “woman and kids get an smaller version”. Didn’t like it at all. At the end when they were offering a shot the waitress again said “she can have”, like allowing me to drink. Unacceptable. The manners were not the best. The food neither. And they charged us 12€ for two water bottles and 12€ for bread that we didn’t asked for. I will never be back and I don’t recommend it.
