This is one of the nicest, most friendly wine bars in Funchal. Close to the Municipal Park, Francisco and Tania will offer a warm welcome and superb selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Delicious snacks, tapas and food. Highly recommended.

Offering possibly the best steak sandwich and best burger in Madeira with an outstanding view, this is possibly one of the best kept secrets of the old town in Madiera. Staff are exceptional, food is outstanding value for money, and if like me you get lucky, you might be able to sit and watch the dolphins play out to see. Couldn't recommend this place enough

We were so sad to see this restaurant is no longer open after visiting for many years. Our last visit was in May 2017 hoped to have New Year lunches in this local restaurant.

What a find , a fantastic small bar restaurant, pretty much a one man band and all the better for it. Fantastic daily specials all at about 8 10 euro plus a little extra for sides like fries or salad. Excellent swordfish fresh cooked and reasonable prices on drinks. The locals go here so what more can I say. Thank you Sir

We used this bar most evenings sitting outside with the locals. The owner brings nuts or nibbles with drinks and when Portugal played football we were eating fresh prawns ! Very reasonable prices and good service from happy friendly staff.
