Description

Perched on the Tennessee River, this waterfront spot serves fresh, well-cooked seafood with standout dishes like shrimp and grits and cheese curds. Attentive, friendly service, clean restrooms and reasonable $20–$30 pricing complement outdoor patio seating, marina docking and takeout. The small dining room can feel crowded and warm, but sweeping water views, a family-friendly vibe and boat‑friendly hospitality make it a popular, welcoming stop for locals and travelers alike.

I visited Guy's Place with a friend on a Saturday night for the first time and definitely plan to return. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which came in a generous portion, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. It included crispy bacon bits, sausage slices, and perfectly cooked shrimp. I even had enough to take home for another meal. The service was outstanding. The dining area is small, but there is outdoor seating on a deck, which would be great in nicer weather. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Good ribeye and nice views of the waterway. We enjoyed the food. They have inside and outside dining. It was very hot outside and almost just as hot inside the evening we were there. The tables are very close together and it's hard to walk around thecrowded dining room.
