Reviews summary
At Ananda, a unique fusion of Indian and American cuisine awaits, though opinions on authenticity vary. Diners commend the exquisite lamb dishes and must-try biryani, while praising the exceptional service, particularly for families. The ambiance strikes a chord, with a cozy terrace ideal for leisurely meals. However, some note the high prices, questioning the value amidst a noisy dining environment. Though beautifully presented, some dishes exhibit a sticky appearance, while others delight with fresh, natural ingredients sourced sustainably. Overall, Ananda captures the hearts of many with its delightful offerings and inviting atmosphere, leaving diners eager for a return visit.

The best experience. Worth the drive to fulton from the city. My first time there was yesterday after friends have raved about it. From the service to the atmosphere to the food.. everything was a 10/10. The gobinda and pulled pork apps are a must. Willbe returning ASAP.
If you enjoy subtle curries, this is the restaurant for you. The lamb chops were incredibly tender and flavorful. The lentil crisps were enjoyable enough to request a refill. But by far the star of this restaurant is the wait staff. We have an antsytoddler and our waiter was patient and engaging and ensured our little was taken care of in the space around our table. Theatmosphere is relaxed. We sat in the covered patio and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. We were so in themoment, I neglected to take any pictures at our table. This is an expensive restaurant, but here you definitely get what you payfor. Go.

We love Indian cuisine so we were anxious to try Ananda in Fulton. It turned out to be our best dining experience at an Indian restaurant in many years. The food and service was excellent and the atmosphere is definitely upscale along with the prices). We had the Lamb Shahi Korma $33) and the Chicken Tikka Masala $30). For dessert, we had the Challah Bread Pudding $16). Service: Dine in
Had a wonderful dinner for a group of five. What an incredible find! Beautiful ambiance. Upscale, cosy, and a number of fires going on a cool evening. The food was exquisite. The butternut squash soup as well as the cauliflower with corn and crab were very tasty. We also tried a number of different dishes, including salmon tikka, shrimp dish, different vindaloos and breads and several appetizers. Everything was delicious. Service was superb. It was well worth the 1.5 hours that I drove to get there. Wish they’d open on in Virginia. Kudos to the staff and management.
This place looks like an abandoned building, in a ghost town there is no restaurant or retail stores next to it, there is no name on the building lol, food may be good for people who don’t know how Indian dishes tastes like, the kitchen tries to make a dish keep doing naming ceremony for it since it turns out different every time. I went there one night food on the menu was super expensive for the location. My waiter was arrogant and took lot of time and threw a look I don’t belong there since I am Indian. They want everyone other than Indians in this place my rating is 1 out of 10.
This was our second time eating here and it was amazing. We had a reservation both times and were seated right away. The atmosphere was nice and had nice decor/ fire places/ lighting. The food was full of flavor and there were many options for meat eater and vegetarian. The staff was nice and friendly. During our second visit we ordered multiple small plates and our server recommended bringing them out in courses which was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try more items. I loved every bite of every dish and at least tried 12 different plates in total We went one time during prime dinner hours and one time after dinner hours and got good parking and food came out in a reasonable time.

The best experience. Check the ride to Fulton from the city. My first time there was yesterday after friends raided on it. From service to the atmosphere to food. everything was 10/10. The gobinda and pulled pig apps are a must. Become ASAP again.
Very beautiful restaurant in Maple Lawn. Portions are pretty big and it’s considered a pricey establishment. Their chai tea was good. We tried the meat samosas which were done well (one per order) and the fried spinach appetizer which was also delicious. I had the vegetable jalfreezi, side portion which was fine but very small for $15. The lamb shank was good and flavorful and we liked their soft naan bread too. Make a reservation in advance because they get very busy
Ananda never disappoints. We even made a private event here and it was perfectly executed, even with the short announcement! I tell all my friends from this place and even I do the same things every time, they always deliver the same powerful flavors – every time. The service there is unmatched. Our servers were always so sweet and so friendly. Come on.
Love the ambiance, decor, live music and food. The food was so good! Loved the zucchini cakes and fresh naan bread. Would love to come here again.
