Pier 36 - Fulshear
Pier 36
Description
Nestled in the heart of the city, Pier 36 offers a blend of delightful ambiance and promising service. While the staff is notably attentive and friendly, guests have reported mixed experiences with food quality and temperature. Many diners rave about the delicious catfish and seafood platters, showcasing the restaurant's culinary strengths. However, there are concerns about an overly extensive menu and a need for modernization. Some patrons have faced service delays, particularly during busy times, which can detract from the overall experience. With a few adjustments, Pier 36 could elevate its status as a go-to destination for seafood lovers.

Dinner was great atomspher was the waitress was absolutely wonderful very friendly and courteous..I order a seafood platter which was very fulfilling while my date enjoyed the shrimp brochette and crab cakes as an appetizer we'll be back again
My husband and I took our son there for his birthday. I had shrimp and grits and it was tasteless. The grits tasted like instant grits and had no flavor. The guys had the seafood platter and it was unremarkable. The hush puppies were burnt. We had calamari, which was overcooked and had no flavor. My son got a piece of lemon berry cake and it was the only thing that tasted good. Spent $100 and the quality was less than that of fast food. The staff was friendly, though. I will not go back and woul
So my 2nd visit and stop in after Court. Staff friendly and enthusiastic. Shrimp etouffee, a lunch special came with my choice cold slaw (needed salt but on crackers was a 10). Etouffee, lots of sause, little bit spicy for me (a senior) but i enjoyed it. Pim 's Cup you should try (I gave up getting the long slice of cucumber the last time) settled for extra cucumber pieces to dip in. Will be back.
This place is the gem of Fulshear. Don’t drive east for date night, hop on 1093 and go west for once. Everything on the menu is incredible. But those baked oysters tho? Those bakkkeedddd oysterrrrrrs thooooo!!! Who knew you could put snot on a prehistoric rock and make it taste amazing. Pier 36 does this, and I’m here for it. Also the salmon is great.
I will start with downsides. Bread for seafood fondue was just plain awful. It has strong chemical smell and I asked for replacement. Replacement was the same. Environment is OK, nothing fancy. Also they don't serve flavored teas, just sodas and lemonade. Now on bright side. The food was really great. Seafood gumbo, seafood fondue, shrimps, oysters were delicious. Victor's platter was both tasty and beautifully decorated. Service was friendly and quick. Despite awful bread it is still 5 stars.
