This is definitely the only coffee shop within a 20-mile radius that has a smoker-friendly terrace. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, and the vintage interior is charming. It mainly attracts a college crowd, and it stays open until 3:00 AM, though it sometimes closes earlier at 2:00 or even 1:00 AM. The atmosphere is respectful, but keep in mind that non-customers are not welcomed, so it’s best not to bring anyone who isn’t planning to buy something.

Stop waiting from an Americano and traffic after a haircut. I'm glad I did it because I love this little place. It feels like an old spoon when you enter, but it looks like a turn of the centuries-old Ranch-style house (and I think it could be just that). I ordered a veggie wrap and Americano. The veggie wrap was very good and came with a Caesar salad. The American was also very good and went easy. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and made sure that she got my order right and even confirmed that I knew that flavored syrup was a few cents extra. I have read some of the reviews about this place and I agree to most negative comments. McClain is not an upscale, untouched coffee house. It's an old building and doesn't try to be anything else. It is cozy with some old furniture, but very comfortable and has plenty of space and space. There are also many seats and tables in front of the building. Parking can be a bit difficult, but if you go back there are some places and there are many parking spaces in the residential area on North Street. I'm sure people complain that it's too expensive, and it wasn't cheap. But in my experience, compared to the large chain coffee sites, small coffee houses are quite always more expensive. He wasn't different. I definitely come back.
