Very nice staff a... read more We have vacationed quite a lot in fuengirola over the last number of years and have always called in here. Nice irish attitude and atmosphere. Very nice staff and accommodating for the most part. We have eaten here many times both for breakfast , snacks , and dinner. Place is very clean and tidy. Until that night. Liverpool were playing a spanish team. One barman who had happily served us two nights previous and was very chatty. On this evening he greeted us and served us. Passed nicities about it being quiet and nobody around and that they were not allowed show game as it was illegal . Fine. After two pints each we asked for a third. We were refused explaing that as there were only two of us that he wouldn't take in enough to pay his wages and he was shutting. Very disappointing and quite insulted..We moved on and it was clear then where everyone was. In other bars who paid to show the game.Customers are customers and it is very insulting to tell them they aren't spending enough to pay your barman's wages.This is just one bad experience of an excellent bar. However it has soured us and wont be gracing it again. Pity. Please inform your staff that two customers are better than none.
