What Margie A likes about Rising Sun Distillery:
Beautifully decorated, you feel like you've been taken back in time to the cool old neighborhood pub, but it's a distillery!!! I'm a beer drinker but my drink of choice is gin. A classy place to hang out and apparently there's live music some nights. View all feedback.
What Daniel Jones doesn't like about Rising Sun Distillery:
I started to order a flight of whiskey, then the bartender walked away without saying a word. After she delt with another customer she came back and took my order. I ordered a flight of whiskey (4 total) 2 were good, 2 were okay. At $20 for a flight it was overpriced especially since the bartender underpoured the flight. I also think there might have been more things on the menu, but I was only given one sheet of pap... View all feedback.
I began by trying to order a whiskey flight, but the bartender walked away without saying anything. After attending to another customer, she returned to take my order. I selected a flight of four whiskeys—two were quite good, while the other two were just okay. Priced at $20, I found the flight to be overpriced, especially since it felt like the bartender didn't pour enough. I also suspected that there were more options on the menu, as I only received one sheet of paper, while other patrons had two. The ambiance was nice, but the lackluster selection and service left much to be desired.
The decor is stunning, transporting you to a charming old neighborhood pub—except it's actually a distillery! Although I usually prefer beer, my favorite drink is gin. It's an elegant spot to relax, and I've heard they have live music on certain nights.
If you're looking for a revitalizing experience, let Rising Sun Distillery elevate your day with a cocktail or two. The staff is outstanding, the seating options are cozy both indoors and outdoors, and, most importantly, their selection of unique and classic cocktails is sure to impress!
Short story about an Old Fashioned. The bartender mixes in a bottle sugar with hot water. In a glass with one large ice cube she adds 1:1 bourbon with this hot simple sour, she just made, then a lot of almond bitters. The worst cocktail I ever had. It's a joke. 15$+tax for an ounce or bourbon and an ounce of hot simple syrup. Also all lights we're on. Like 3 min before closing. 15$ cocktail it's a product you have properly make and sell with ambiance. Not this time. Not there.
No soft drinks, no beer. Great bluegrass band though!Good to hear you do do soft drinks however you had better tell the server. She said you didn't and got me a soda water?
