Reviews - Nerdvana
Reviews summary
Nerdvana offers a mixed bag of experiences, with some customers finding the seating arrangements uncomfortable and the service lacking, while others praise the food and atmosphere. The restaurant seems to excel in its bar area, with great drinks and a fun vibe, while the dining experience can be hit or miss depending on the waiter. Overall, Nerdvana seems to have potential but may be more suited for drinks and appetizers rather than a full meal.

What Zula Cartwright dislikes about Nerdvana:
Noisy! Uncomfortable seating Seated all half moon booths first. Not easy to get in to or out of. Those seated at the ends had no idea what the others were saying. Not good for conversation. Fun drink and app menu. Disappointed in entree menu. Perhaps my expectations were to high. View all feedback.

This was my second visit here and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. If you are seeking truly unique and tasty food, this is the place for you. Nerdvana is more than just game consoles, it’s an entire vibe. The staff, atmosphere, food, andsdrinks were beyond my expectations. Pictures fail to do this place justice. Thank-you Andrew for your patience and for yourknowledge of the menu items!
My friend and I got a ps4 console. We got the burgers and Mac n cheese balls. The Mac n cheese balls were good. French Fries were very average. The burger was good. The buns were crispy. The appeal of this place is the games, not the food. Death Squaredand overcooked 2 we're fun coop games we enjoyed.
My son and I visited this restaurant once, and we had an incredible experience! We ended up staying for four hours. We both ordered burgers; mine was a bit overcooked, but my son's was cooked to perfection. The fries were absolutely fantastic and a must-try. My only complaint was that the booth we sat in felt a little cramped.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, and we enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. However, the food was just mediocre. The hadouken beef was slightly undercooked; I expected medium-rare to be the standard, but the center was a bit too rare for my liking. It was also somewhat chewy, and I don't think paying $18 for three small pieces of meat was justified.
What a truly unique and fun concept this place is! My niece and I visited for her birthday, and I thought it would be perfect since she loves gaming. We arrived on a Saturday and noticed it didn’t open until noon, so we headed next door for a quick snack, as we were both quite hungry. We planned to come here for mimosas and dessert. First of all, the interior design of the restaurant is really impressive! I loved everything about it – the colorful murals and textured accent walls were fantastic. However, I was let down by the mimosas. They use a rather low-quality champagne and add flavored syrup to it. The first one I tried was a blackberry mimosa, and it honestly wasn’t good at all. For the next one, I just ordered champagne with the syrup on the side, hoping to improve it, but it didn’t help much. For dessert, we had the banana pudding, which was pretty average. I didn’t really taste any bananas, and the wafers weren’t softened. However, we did enjoy playing some games while sitting at the table, which was a lot of fun. Overall, I think this place is more about the experience than the food. I would be open to giving it another try in the future!

We actually never got served. The bartender was so backed up, after 15 minutes she never got to us. Yet people that were seated after us a few seats down got drinks right away... We used to think this place was cool. Guess not anymore.
We visited Nerdvana on the 4th of July with another couple. We started off sitting at the bar, where we ordered drinks. The bartender was fantastic and the video games added to the fun. We even made friends with a group sitting next to us. Afterward, we moved to the patio for dinner before heading out to watch the fireworks. Unfortunately, the service from our waitress was the worst we've experienced in a while. While the food was decent, it wasn't memorable enough to make up for the lackluster waitstaff. For instance, our waitress slammed my drink down on the table, forgot to bring napkins and silverware (which forced one of our party members to go fetch them despite asking twice), and even forgot some of our orders. Overall, her rudeness left a bad impression. I would consider going back, but I can only recommend sitting at the bar for drinks and perhaps an appetizer.
We celebrated the 4th of July with the kids and some friends, enjoying a lovely dinner before watching the fireworks!

Or service was good, but we had an automatic 20% gratuity for a table of 5 split 2 3. 92 dollars for us an 75 for the 2 felt very over the top for some burgers and an appetizer.
It’s been three years since I’ve been here. We don’t go for the food we go for the vibes and the games which are top notch. Service is excellent, atmosphere is good, video games are fun and easy to set up for four players. The food was very meh not sure if we went on an off day. Chicken nuggets were dry how hard are they to get right? Salads were good, but the rest of it was mid at best.
This was great place to hang out after visiting the area and we were not rushed to leaving after we were done with our food.

Really cool experience, good drinks, we had a good time there. But food was OK, hadouken beef was slightly under cooked (I'm assuming the default doneness is mid-rare, but the center was slightly rare) and a bit chewy, probably not worth $18 for 3 small pieces of meat.
The staff here is fantastic, and while it can be a bit on the pricey side, there are multiple games available for each system. I’ve never had to wait for a table during any of my visits. Some of the drinks are inspired by Borderlands, which fans will surely enjoy. This place seems perfect for families and also great for friends looking to grab a drink and play Smash Bros on a big screen TV.

I will definitely come back again as the noise level is also very low. ENJOY!!!
First off, I must say the decor is impressive! The restaurant features really cool, colorful murals and textured accent walls that create a vibrant atmosphere. However, I was let down by the mimosas. They use a very low-quality champagne mixed with syrup shots. The blackberry mimosa I tried was quite unpalatable. For my next drink, I ordered champagne with syrup on the side, hoping to improve it, but unfortunately, that didn't help much. For dessert, we went with the banana pudding, but it was pretty average. I didn't really taste any bananas, and the wafers were still crunchy, lacking that soft, creamy texture you expect. We did have a great time playing games at our table, which added to the fun. Overall, this place seems to be more about the experience than the food. I will definitely come back to give it another shot.
This is an excellent place for gaming lovers, whether you're into card games or video games. The food is typical for a gaming venue, and the drinks are quite sweet—at least mine was! It would have been even better if our group hadn’t had six people since only four could play on the console at a time. The staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere was energetic and cheerful!

We had an excellent experience celebrating a birthday with a group of 6 at this restaurant. The booth was cozy, fitting 5 adults and an 8-year-old comfortably. It wasn't as busy as we anticipated, possibly due to the Jimmy Buffett/ZZ Top concert happening on the same night. We enjoyed playing multiplayer games at our table equipped with 4 controllers and current games. The food was good overall, with some dishes standing out more than others. We will definitely be returning soon.
The pasta, atmosphere, and service at this restaurant were excellent. I have already recommended this place to many friends and will definitely be coming back to try the pizza.
What a fantastic experience! The fettuccine carbonara was likely the best I've ever tasted. The service was attentive and friendly, even with a busy crowd. I highly recommend this restaurant!
