Great bar right at the main square, perfect place for afternoon sun and cocktails. Karaoke on Grasnacht. Pool table in the basement. Leave a beer in the sun and watch how people meet the halfpipe. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about High Rockies Whiskey And Wine:
Walked in here very excited to have a few glasses of wine after skiing one afternoon (Thursday? , but left 10 minutes later without ordering anything. Inattentive, rude treatment by the two young women bartenders. The place was virtually empty, just a handful of people at the bar and at a few different tables, yet they could not be bothered to even acknowledge our presence or give us a smile or any other basic courte... This place is great and Carson is great. The people who work here are super friendly. There are 2 stories and much bigger than it looks from outside. You have billiards on the ground floor and a great neighborhood atmosphere.
Large cocktail bar with an amazing selection of spirits. Bar channels make very delicious drinks with a good selection of different bitters, syrups and garnishing. Wine selection was a tad missing, a few very high end bottles and a lower end, could use some more options in the moderate price range. Overall a good bar with beautiful atmosphere, but bring your purse is not cheap.
Oh man, this place was great. A dive bar with all the whiskey a liver could ever handle, and they do karaoke! Whether you're tired from the slopes, or your wife just left you for your attorney, High Rockies Whiskey and Wine Bar is for you! Sing your blues away while you get lifted at 10,000 feet! Would recommend.
Austin was the best bartender I've run into in my entire life. If I go to Copper, I want to come here with Austin bartending. It was an amazing experience with great people, a great atmosphere, and great drinks. A must go!
2nd time visiting this month. First time around I'd have given it a 4. Limited menu and tasted okay but did have decent drinks. Second time I went I'd give it a zero. Pork sliders room temp, skimpy on the meat, and the side of kettle chips were practically non-existent. The 26 year old blonde bartender, Stephanie?, was attentive until a reggae musician came in that was discussing her wedding plans with her. I never received the last drink I ordered and finally just paid and left. Not professional. Also need to step up the menu and portion sizes. Left hungry and unattended so I went to another place next door that took care of me.
