La pignata is a small restaurant in a former house in the village poffbro, where my grandparents lived before they came to America. they should make a reservati... read more La pignata is a small restaurant in a former house in the village poffbro, where my grandparents lived before they came to America. they should make a reservation before they avoid disappointment. the owner, michele, prepare for eating and our dinners. were delicious. sadly, michele does not speak English so that we were not able to communicate with him; but the man who waited for us was able to translate elements on the menu that we were unfamiliar (like rabbits). my man had tagliatelli pasta with Porcini-Pilz and I had polnta with sausage and swarm on a rib with a light brown sauce. both were delicious. we ate in the small dining area, which holds about 20 people; but there is a larger area on a deck outside with a view of a very picturesque mountain view. the price of the meal was very reasonable. I recommend this charming restaurant and going through the village will give them some wonderful possibilities for some fantastic pictures.

Although it is only a limited menu, the food was well cooked and delicious. the meals were influenced by the regional cuisine. the staff was friendly and helpful and the weeps were good. if they have the chance to have a meal here, they take it as a special experience.
