Restaurant Kommodore - Friedrichshafen

I had a really tasty steak tonight but it turned up without potatoes of any sort... I asked for chips and they turned up minutes later . I asked for ketchup and it didn't turn up at all. Good food , nice atmosphere.... terrible...service

My husband reluctantly agreed to dinner at the Kommodore. While this restaurant is conveniently located on the lake, it did not seem as touristy as some of the other places we walked past. The inside appears to be part of a Yacht Club. They serve...traditional Baden-Wurttemberg dishes with a modern flare. The food was great and the service was excellent. It was a good value for the price

Had an impromptu lunch on day trip to Friedrichshaven. Chose this place as it looked so nice inside and out. We chose to sit inside which still afforded lovely views of the Bodensee over the marina. I ordered the tomato creme soup and my wife...the asparagus creme soup. Both were delicious, for me the best tomato creme soup I have ever had. My daughter ordered the spatlzli with burnt onion rigs, we all tried it and all agreed that it was the best spatlese we have ever had Now that is saying something as my wife is Swiss so we know our spatzli. I followed up the soup with local white asparagus in a hollendaise sauce with steamed potatoes while the others had a garden salad. Again all were first rate. Forget the tourist traps, and try this place as brilliant food with a view and great service. Hope to get back some time soon. Thanks Restaurant Commodore for an excellent lunch

Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Yachthafen und hat auch eine überdeckte Terrasse. Gleich daneben kann man unter einer hübschen Pergola sitzen, was besonders an einem schönen Sommerabend dazu einlädt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Wartezeiten sind kurz. Das Essen (Schwabenschmaus) und dazu ein Weissbier haben köstlich geschmeckt. Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis insbesondere für Schweizer Gäste sehr gut. Ich kann das Restaurant durchaus weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé une bonne soirée malgré une pluie terrible ! La serveuse était adorable, et les pizzas étaient bonnes. Le restaurant était un peu surchargé mais l'ambiance était conviviale !
