The food was very tasty, freshly prepared and the portions were generous no one went hungry. The friendly and attentive service took excellent care of us and created a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to come back and can only recommend this restaurant for a successful lunch. Thank you!

Since she has celiac di... read more My daughter and I went to the pumpkin glowing event in Friedrichroda on October 12, 2024, where the Vilott restaurant ran a snack stand. Since she has celiac disease and is on a strict gluten-free diet, I asked about the ingredients in the mushroom pan on offer. We were assured by several staff members that no flour containing gluten was used in the food. After my daughter ate some of the mushrooms, we were informed that the mushrooms did contain gluten. I asked why such false information was given when we were so sure before. The staff then became angry and very unobjective. It has been argued that we shouldn't have ourselves like that. No trace of insight or an honest apology. Such ignorance and lack of understanding have never happened to us before. There was also no declaration of the ingredients anywhere. We will avoid the restaurant in the future and will not recommend it to others.

Perhaps that could be improved. I didn't have to wait at all, as I had reserved a table the day before.

We went there for the first time a while ago and were absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly friendly and delicious.
