Westcott Bay Sea Farms - Friday Harbor

So my wife and I are not oyster lovers; in fact, we are oysters sceptics best. But we want to like them, and this place really moved the needle for us. The grilled oysters are *amazing*, and I even enjoyed the fresh oysters, especially the Little Oly. And it's really cool that you can see where the oysters are grown / harvested from your table. Our server, Bristol, took care of us. She answered our questions about the farm, oysters and what it is to live/grown on the island. She was human and has everything on our mission to learn to like oysters. Staff seemed to have fun together and enjoy the interaction with customers. This place is cute as a courtesy; the vibes are good, the view wonderful, and the branding on point. *only* downstairs was a little small for the price. But the quality was excellent, so we didn't disturb.

They have fresh oysters! I also enjoyed the oyster cat. the outside seat was great as I brought my dogs. loved the atmosphere. Dog friendly and good food. could not ask for something better

My favorite dining experience for our time on the island of San Juan. Friendly staff, amazing oysters, Clam Pasta, salad and wine! We could observe how they harvest oysters while we ate the ocean to the table! I need to find a time to come back.

We came as a family of 10 for lunch on Saturday MDW. The entire outdoor terrace was quite full despite the cloudy weather, but we had a reservation so that we will be shown immediately on our table. The service was fast and attentive. We had a few bottles of a delicious Sauvignon Blanca, but the standout was the oysters and mussels! Maybe the best we ever had. The grilled oysters with 3 different types of butter were divine and the shells in the broth were fantastic. Even the bread was unforgettable! So good was seafood, we took 4lbs of shells and a dozen oysters home for dinner. And then the next day came for more:

Great tasting and fresh oyster. The serving size for other dishes (sandwich, pasta) is kid-size though. Very friendly staff and great view.
