The menu offers relatively simple Swiss cuisine, but where can you still get a classic cheese slice, a decent piece of meat without any frills, or a lunch menu for under 20 francs? Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Lebanese, American... You can get it anywhere in the city. But the Marcello is and remains a down-to-earth restaurant that my father liked. Glad it still exists.
