Interesting. I am at the bar for 6 -7 hours, sitting,drinking and minding my own business with friends. Around 9 30 pm, my friend and I both agree that a lager we bought was less than satisfactory. Guy behind the bar refunds the , minus the cc charge and tells me I am too pissed and they refuse me service. Stowaway is a wonderful bar hidden in a shopping area in Freshwater. They have introduced a gluten-free menu with a wide variety of choices and even a dedicated fryer. You can enjoy burgers, Mexican dishes, wings, and more. Plus, the cocktails are incredible!
I was very impressed with their knowledge about celiac disease! The menu even includes a dedicated section for celiacs, clearly stating that they use separate fryers. Additionally, when placing an order, there is an option to indicate that it's for a celiac-friendly meal!
