**Restaurant Review: Timbuktoo's - A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Timbuktoo's, a cozy hidden gem, offers an array of seafood and other dishes that many diners rave about. While some patrons enjoy excellent food and service, others express disappointment due to long waits and service mishaps. Reports of inadequate ketchup servings, missed rice with dishes, and hair found in appetizers highlight inconsistencies. Despite this, many guests praise the atmosphere, portion sizes, and friendly staff, making it a potential must-visit for those willing to overlook occasional flaws. Overall, Timbuktoo's stands out for its ambiance and varied menu, leaving diners eager for a return visit despite service drawbacks.

The food and drinks were mediocre and overpriced. I really wanted to enjoy them, but after trying three different locations, I was consistently disappointed.
Our experience at High Time Jubilee Dinner was made exceptional by our waitress, Susie. The extensive menu was thoroughly explained in advance, so we knew exactly what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible detail and flavor in our meals. We ordered the filet and ribeye steak, both cooked to perfection. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last. The cozy cabin atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food all reflect the pride this family restaurant takes in what they do.
This restaurant boasts a fantastic location, conveniently situated near an outlet mall, Pokegon State Park, and easily accessible from the freeways, making it an ideal stop on the way to Fort Wayne or home. It's also a great choice for a destination luncheon. The food is consistently excellent and offers great value, featuring creative specials and unique menu items that steer clear of the usual fare. Additionally, the building itself is quite intriguing.
Good atmosphere, service, and food. I had the chopped chicken salad. Lots of other things on the menu looked good too. I'll be back.
We were really glad we took a detour from the main road to check out Timbuktoo's. It's surprisingly easy to miss, so be sure to slow down and look for it! We started with the amazing appetizer of the day—a Mexican street corn dip—and it was delicious. We didn't snap any photos of our food because it arrived so quickly and we were really hungry. The salmon dinner was incredible, especially with the dill sauce, which was fantastic. The sirloin dinner was a generous portion and cooked to perfection. I had the Hawaiian chicken dinner with broccoli salad, and it was outstanding. My husband ordered the Hawaiian sandwich and loved it as well.
