Down Thyme Cafe - Fremont

I visit this restaurant as often as I can, and during my most recent visit, I had the Crumb Brule coffee, which was really good. I rate the coffee 5 stars. The atmosphere also deserves 5 stars; it might have the best setup in town when it comes to ambiance. However, where the place falls short is in service. While they excel at crafting excellent coffee, the staff’s personalities are rather dull—non-engaging and bland. I would give the service 3 stars. For the staff's personalities, I would give just 1 star. But since the product quality is excellent, I will give an overall rating of 3 stars. This place is worth a visit. It used to be called DaVinci's Coffee, but after being sold, the new owners decided to change the name to give it a cooler vibe. Overall, I would rate it 4 stars.

Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. I was just passing through town, but I’m saving this place in case we drive by again in the future! Plus, they have dairy-free options for coffee drinks!!! Thank you!!!!!

I absolutely love this place! The service is consistently great, and the coffee is excellent. The food is delicious, and there’s a nice variety to choose from. I frequently bring visitors from out of town here and make a point to stop by whenever I can.

I go in regularly and really enjoy their coffee and their quiches. The atmosphere is great. The service is ok I've been waited on by a number of different people and they rarely smile, they dont greet you when you come in, and rarely greet you at the counter. The service is typically what keeps customers so I hope this improves. Also their small cups hold the exact same amount as their medium cups.

This coffee shop was truly a hidden gem that was recommended to me during my visit. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the coffee was fantastic, of course!
