The Harbour Master - Fremantle

Will not go back, the steak sandwich had lunch, and the piece rump was thinner than the speck that accompanied it. my friend had the burger who was also and was best in average, would have been disappointed to pay for everyone much less. also pints were on a positive note the service was great, but in any case will not return. how they won the best steak sandwich is beyond me.

Eating was fantastic. ceviche entree is a must! Too bad I got my first drink. hubby's beer and our escape came out and I'm waiting. it had come, it was worth waiting for. vanilla caprioska- so good! the picture of the man on the wall is a bit crazy, but otherwise it is a beautiful romantic place to dinner. with other reviews say that this place is overpriced, but only slightly

I must say, they've done a good job tiding this place up. A modern twist to this heritage Freo landmark building. Most definitely needed. A pleasant surprise the new restaurant cocktail bar and the glass cellar. The food was equally good with a new fresh presentation. The dry aged porterhouse came in a wooden frame board with the steak sitting on a hot metal surface. The sauce choice and the side dish was complimenting the steak and was included in the price. The apple crumble was amazing and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and prompt and always checking making sure that everything was ok. Overall a very good dining experience would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Average. Just plain average.. Fine dining? Romantic? I 'm confused. Are we talking about the same place here? I think it was trying to be more than it was. At the very least, they could of offered fresh cracked black pepper? Or, perhaps they could pour the ladies first? We had the duck confit and lamb cutlets both average, nothing to write home about. They weren 't sure if we could have a table at first, and then said they had room for two without a booking, but then asked us if we were staying at the hotel, and when we said 'no ', they said they had to check again if we could sit down. Service was excellent. Risotto is a must try Panache. Yumm! Will definitely dine in again.
