Pre-funday dabble. There is nothing I like more than popping down to freo with the day 4 heads, rolling into old shanghai and wetting the olde whistle with a big bowl of wanton noodle soup, with a pint . obviously) to accompany, and just watching the heads float past. The broth is a never ending pool of rich flavour, and thats just the start of this death row meal experience.. THIS IS ROLLING View all feedback.
All the Malay favourites and very reasonably priced! Many of the dishes are made to order, which gives enough time to go order a drink. There's quite a few good options in this food court - that they're always busy is a good sign given the competition.
Cheap which is cool. Kway teow has always been a favorite of mine form here, practically lived off it for a while. Plus even better if u add heaps of the green chilli and vinegar they have out the front.
A combination kway teow and a jug of coopers red (from the bar) and you're set for a good night. Cheap and cheerful but it's the best for those weeks where the $ is low but the appetite's still high (like all weeks!)
The soup was inedible and the everything was overcooked. I had to buy lunch from the markets instead. We won't be returning here unfortunately.
Had the curry laksa. It was fragrant, but not spicy enough. They've got chilli to add though. It's in the food court, but food is freshly prepared.
