Studio 37 is a hidden gem located in a warehouse in Freo, offering a unique and artsy atmosphere. The café serves delicious jaffles and a variety of coffee options. While some patrons found the jaffles to be a bit dry and lacking some flavor, others enjoyed the unique combinations offered. The coffee was generally well-received, with some pointing out that it was beautifully presented and creamy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The café's art studio location within the same warehouse added to the ambiance, making it a charming spot to enjoy a coffee and a tasty jaffle.

Was Michael W at Studio 37 a mag?
First time at studio 37 for coffee and toasted sandwhich. I love a good coffee and wasnt disappointed although for me the coffee could have been hotter. We were only charged $2 for the coffee cos we bought food. I also had a watermelon apple celery and mint juice which was lovely. I will def be going back. View all feedback.
What FreoFlatWhite dislikes about Studio 37:
Just as a bit of a tip, the cafe at this location is not operated by the same person as it was originally (changed early 2018). Haven't been in since it re-opened as I followed the owner barista a bit further down High Street to High Street Dispensary where he is now slinging the same great coffees. View all feedback.
This place is amazing. Simple idea, simple ingredients but put together so well. The tandoori jaffle has the perfect combination of flavors. Quiet and cute atmosphere.
Swanky place that sells... toasted sandwiches! Yum. I wish the mushrooms were fresh and not canned though, I could taste the difference. The coffee was almost to pretty to drink, and tasted great. Staff are super friendly.
Cafe is situated through a big door off the side walk in an art space. Coffee is good but has no vegan options. Has a strange vibe but is worth checking out.
A friend of mine recommended the coffee at Studio 37, so we decided to give it a try. In addition to the coffees, we shared the Mornin Kick and The Reuben, as well as The Eric. The coffee was enjoyable, but I found the jaffles to be a bit lacking. While the flavors were good, they were quite dry and could have benefited from more sauce. I definitely think there's room for improvement. Personally, I preferred The Reuben over Mornin Kick, although my friend liked the Mornin Kick more. The Eric was decent, not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would go back for the coffee, but I probably wouldn't order the jaffles again.
A shadowy entrance leads into the PS Art Space with the Café off to one side. When the art space is not in use it can look a bit dark but once inside there seems to be plenty of light. A nice range of jaffels were on the board and the usual coffees. I had the feta and spinach jaffel which was nice enough but lacking a little flavour. There are other more spicy options. The flat white coffee was quite good, dark and without a lot of milk, and together with the light coloured furniture made for a pleasant experience.
