Studio 37 - Fremantle
Studio 37
Description
Studio 37 is a hidden gem located in a warehouse in Freo, offering a unique and artsy atmosphere. The café serves delicious jaffles and a variety of coffee options. While some patrons found the jaffles to be a bit dry and lacking some flavor, others enjoyed the unique combinations offered. The coffee was generally well-received, with some pointing out that it was beautifully presented and creamy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The café's art studio location within the same warehouse added to the ambiance, making it a charming spot to enjoy a coffee and a tasty jaffle.

This place is amazing. Simple idea, simple ingredients but put together so well. The tandoori jaffle has the perfect combination of flavors. Quiet and cute atmosphere.
A true gem. Love the turkey jaffle, baked bean jaffle and omg nutella jaffle just a yum! The ice teas are good too! Been to this cafe many times especially it being next to notre dame uni its so easy to get a snatch and off to class!
A friend of mine recommended Studio 37's coffee. On top of coffees, we ordered Mornin Kick, The Reuben & The Eric to share. Coffees were nice. However the jaffles for me were so so. Although the flavours were there, they're quite dry and could use a bit more sauce. Definitely there's room for improvements. I preferred The Reuben over Mornin Kick, but my friend liked MK better. The Eric was alright and not too sweet. Employees were accommodating. I would go back for coffee but probably not for jaffles.
Had a client catch up for a coffee in Fremantle during my recent trip there. They suggested Studio 37, which is a café attached to an art studio/working space in a warehouse style building. The actual café itself consists of a long bar area where they serve customers and make their/food and drink, and then a number of smaller tables are scattered about.
Studio 37 is the epitome of Freo-laid back, industrial, artsy and unique in every way. It's not the type of place you would just stumble across...hidden away from the coffee strip it is a local secret. The cafe is actually in a large warehouse with all seating inside but the opportunity to sit by the garage door and take in the streets of Freo. The coffee is creamy and smooth. I opted for the double shot in a mug which was beautifully presented. The food on offer looks fab too-jaffles, soup and fresh pastries. The staff were also friendly. I think this spot will become my new usual : <br/ <br/ 25th October<br/ Had coffee and a pumpkin muffin fresh out the oven. Muffin was to die for but coffee was a bit disappointing this time. : new barista?
