I went to this caffe late on Sunday morning in a next street from freo to find a wonderful green filled space with casual stock tables inside and outside (yes it is doggie friendly). platz was pretty busy with most tables occupied. they sell goodies produced in the workshop as well as wonderful interiors for hanging up or placing on a bank. the staff is friendly and I went up with my usual long mac and a mandel croissant. coffee was excellent; strong and hot, so I am not surprised that people go to this place for a caffeine repair. the croissant was also good; fluffy and wonderful filling – definitiw at the point. suggest a retour...read more
Having been to Ootong & Lincoln a few times now, I can safely say that this place will always have a spot on my list of South Fremantle favourites.
I went to this Café late Sunday morning tucked away in a side street of Freo to find a delightfully green filled space with casual share tables inside and outside (yes it is doggie friendly). Place was pretty busy with most tables occupied. They sell goodies made in the workshop as well as wonderful indoor plants to hang or place on a bench. Café has a good selection of pastries. Staff are friendly and I went with my usual long Mac topped up and an almond croissant. Coffee was excellent; strong and hot, so doesn’t surprise me that people go to this place for a caffeine fix. The croissant was good too; flakey and wonderful filling – definitely hit the spot. Suggest you take a detour and come here next time for coffee; you’ll feel caffeinated and relaxed. And they offer a discount if you bring your own mug!
