I went for brekkie on a wintery rainy day and was... read more Hidden off the beaten tracks of the Cappo strip is this authentic Italian café with all the charm and flavour. I went for brekkie on a wintery rainy day and was the first in. Service was warm and friendly. I ordered the omelet filled with sausage and mushrooms with homemade bread, and a long Mac topped up. I sat next to the wonderful tiles on which customers had left messages for the café; wonderful touch. The food and coffee came out together. Coffee was excellent, and the omelet was very good too. And for the record, they still have the $5 muffin and coffee special which is a wonderful deal for Freo. I will have to come back and try this along with their famous pastas.

Always great food, superb coffee, friendly customer service, classic décor and a menu to appeal to raging appetites or a quick snack. Very affordable too. Long may you run, Parlapa.
