Haldi - Fremantle
Haldi
Description
A recent visit to an Indian restaurant in Fremantle left diners disappointed with poor quality and overpriced dishes, as well as unsatisfactory service. Complaints included tasteless food, limited menu options, and sloppy presentation. Some customers even lamented the change in ownership that led to a decline in the restaurant's overall quality. However, one positive review praised Haldi as the best Indian restaurant in the area, with consistently superb dishes that are worth every cent. Despite mixed reviews, it seems that Haldi still has fans who appreciate its hearty and well-prepared Indian cuisine.

Don't expect this to be like the previous Indian restaurant, Haandi. Food very poor and expensive- no taste. Not all menu items available and that was on a Friday night - no prawn dishes and tamarind potato starter was in same sauce as chicken curry - both tasteless. Will not go again.
AVOID - ridiculously overpriced and not tasty. For example; $9.50 for a single serve of badly cooked rice, $25 for a well below average tasting butter chicken, $12.50 for bland, rock-like onion bhajis. The service is sloppy, food poorly presented and the place is screaming "unloved". Even the pappadums were stale. Strongly recommend you find somewhere else if you're looking for a good curry.
A beautiful location for a spot of Indian food: really hearty and well made. The location is good and the atmosphere is great. People who frequent the joint are diverse in nature and all in all this is a fun night out littlegirlbigfood.blogspot.com
Bad experience. Food not great. Service terrible. Screaming children thought the experience who did not appear to be with customers. Such a shame. This was our favourite restaurant before it recently changed hands. You really need to step up guys.
