Visited some approx 4 months ago and it was a disaster with food, coffee, and service was so slow. Went back again and pleasantly surprised food was out on time and coffee was also very quick. Last time it was definitely lack of staff knowledge when things got busy but it seems they must have trained people and maybe put some processes in place when it got busy. What Flo Wisozk doesn't like about Dome:
The coffee I received, along with two others' for our table, were cold and the side salad my father received with his seafood basket was already turning. It was revolting, as if the chef who made the salad had prepped it a week ago and stored it at the back of the fridge waiting to be used. The service, at least, was average. View all feedback.
It was crowded and chaotic and finding a menu was difficult. but from a difficult situation that smiled the staff were gallant that eating did not come for about 30 minutes and gave my son a free big freddo, as his mac n cheese was not available. the food came out after 10 minutes, the dirty chai tasted amazing and the staff stood up well among the circumstances. a good culinary experience for dôme standards.
Quite standard, as you would assume to be a chain. coffee is good, beautiful and strong. tried the avo stack with posing iron and salmon. pretty tasty! service was ok, wait a bit sloppy and spilt a lot of coffee as they have our tassen on the table, not even apologise or bring a serviette, eek. the plus will not be back, as fremantle has many other options.
Often was in the dome and have found the personal to be always very friendly and accrediting. the coffee tea and cake are consistent with dome quality and you know what to expect. the facility begins to look a little tired and a renovation would be welcomed.
My partner and I live around Fremantle and enjoy getting out for breakfast at different local cafes. BIG MISTAKE COMING HERE! We ordered the vegetarian breakfast, with poached runny eggs and 2 orange juices. At 9:20am. At 9:45am I went to the counter asking, where the fresh (out of a Harvey Fresh bottle) orange juice was. It was sent out with no food 7 minutes later. At 10:00am the food was bought the table, ICY cold, toast hard and bacon like rubber as the oil hard hardened it to something like concrete! it must have been sat on the pass waiting for someone to actually SERVE any paying customer for about 15-20 minutes. Saturday date with hubby...went here to get some coffee after lunch. Ordered 2 coffees and a slice of cake. The coffees arrived with no sign of cake. Waited at least 5 minutes and hubby went to ask the front staff about it, the girl said it was coming. Waited until our coffees were cold (at least another 10-15), didn't want the cake anymore (I wanted to eat the cake with coffee, not take it home! decided to just get a refund, at which point the cake finally showed up. I told the waitress we no longer wanted it and that my husband was at the front asking for a refund. She was rude and when asked why it took so long simply said they had to process the orders in the order received. How...read more
