The steak was cooked to perfection, the bed of mash was large tasty the mushroom sauce was to die for!!! After a lovely...dinner with my husband we decided to head back with the kids MIL for breakfast the next morning. Coffee was delicious all breakfast meals were so tasty! Staff were VERY attentive, friendly happy to answer questions. It was a lovely dining experience, either day or night. Definitely recommend!!

Great food, recommend the crispy salt pepper squid, or Thai mussels. Yum! Very prompt and efficient service. Pleasant and cosy atmosphere. Veal Satimbocca the flavour was superb and serving was large. I took half mine home for dinner the next...day. Husband had the chicken dish stuffed breast and his meal was amazing too. The flavour of these dishes outshone anything else we had in Freo. Staff lovely and attentive without being annoying. Wish I had the recipe. Will definitely be back

I went in recently for what I was hoping would be a quick lunch. I had to ask where to sit, wasn’t greeted and was eventually told to sit anywhere. I then waite... read more I went in recently for what I was hoping would be a quick lunch. I had to ask where to sit, wasn’t greeted and was eventually told to sit anywhere. I then waited for quite a few minutes to even be acknowledged let alone served....It wasn’t busy, about half full. After being ignored for a while I complained and was eventually served. The veal schnitzel was passable only as it was slightly soggy. In spite of this poor experience I’ll be going again as it’s convenient…usually. Lift your game Benny’s!
