I did the Tomato soup which tasted of very fresh tomatoes, then had the Herring appetizer that came with the most delicious beet salad I ever ate. My wife enjoyed the Welch which was a huge portion. The place is a bit hidden but otherwise well worth a visit if you are around the Dresden area.
