Tucked back away from Lake Zurich in the base of a valley/vineyard. Nice pastoral views and quiet on the outdoor patio. No English menu, but staff was friendly and helpful in translating. Seemed to be mostly locals that all knew one another. Baby shower party of 15 on the day I had lunch here. From the name was expecting a Swiss menu. 90% of the menu is Italian food. I went with a Swiss selection (I think). Crispy fired pork cordon blu. Not a particularly low cal option; however, my impression is that healthy Swiss food is hard to come by. Anyway figured I earned it after 3 hours in the saddle biking around lake Zurich.Highly recommend grabbing one of the free bikes (ask the hotel) and taking a tour around the lake. Stunning views, gazetted lake front beaches and neat ferry piers in every town. Lots of places to stop for a bite or drink by the lake. If your going to attempt the entire lake you will need to upgrade to a proper road bike. Trying it on a three speed city bike will leave you very sore in the saddle.
Good salads, good, good bouillon, good fish... but expensive. good service and plesant faciities, however, for a lower price you can find the same things in the neighbourhood.
