This was very bad and results in a noticeable depreciation with all 8 of us. Basically recommended, however.

Although we were of... read more Despite having a four-month reservation as hotel guests, we were seated at one of two standing tables (70x70 cm) with bar stools for dinner. Although we were offered the option, we were refused a change of location. Consequently, our interest in a three-course meal dwindled to nothing. The food and drinks offered were what one would expect in a restaurant of this category. P.S. A question about the decor: Throughout Germany, even closed fireplaces are legally required to be shut down. How is it possible that in environmentally conscious Baden-Württemberg/Freiburg, an open wood-burning fireplace is blazing in the dining room? Apparently, different rules apply to environmentalists after hours.

Mostly yo... read more The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful! Spacious, well-maintained, bathed in sunlight, and nicely divided into sections. The service is outstanding! Mostly young men who are courteous, quick, friendly, competent, and understanding – they do a fantastic job. A minor hiccup with the salt on the asparagus was immediately rectified with a fresh portion. The white wine, as well as the red wine with the filet, was excellent and perfectly complemented the chosen dish. The prices are naturally quite high, but you get exceptional quality for your money. Parking is available in front of the property. The hotel itself is also inviting with its elegant ambiance, but that's for next time
