Li's Place - Freeport
Li's Place
Description
Li’s Place offers hearty New England–style Chinese with crowd-pleasers like hot-and-sour soup, crab Rangoon, General Tso and orange chicken served quickly in generous portions. Favored for takeout and curbside pickup, it provides vegetarian and gluten‑free choices (rice noodles, homemade tofu), outdoor picnic seating and eco-friendly packaging. Diners praise flavor and speed, though experiences vary: expect occasional rude staff, cleanliness concerns and inconsistent quality or pricing. Overall, a convenient, casual spot for satisfying Chinese classics when you want fast, familiar food.

I stopped by for dinner and really appreciated how easy it was to call in and pick up my order. I got the pu pu platter for two, and while our favorite item was the beef teriyaki, the rest of the platter was just okay. The fried rice was well-prepared, with a wonderful wok hay flavor and aroma; however, I felt it could have used more vegetables and egg. I definitely recommend adding another entrée or some veggies to accompany it. Although we ordered quite a bit of fried food, none of the dishes felt overly greasy or salty. I’d love to try some of their other menu items in the future!
Best General Tso you can find and the crab Rangoons are 10/10. Great food and even better people Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Absolutely the best! My favorite is the General's Chicken, extra spicy. Large, fresh portions perfect for leftovers. Our favorite take out. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
