Absolutely amazing food. Great atmosphere. Don't let the harbor like feel detour you from this place. The food is amazing. Everything I had was great. Great for large groups and you can tell the chef takes pride in his creation. Have the clam chowder it was so good. View all feedback.
Boone was fun! try her happy hour specials. the $1 oysters is worth a taste. I'm not a big oyster fan, but my wife enjoys her. reportedly these were a bit more briney, but don't have to share them for just $ 1 each is a big amount. pick them up $10 worth sharing with their partner or friend. the kalamari was okay. the taste was good for $5 on HH Special. I think they could look this with a small arugula to boost the edge, or maybe make a yuzu Mayo sauce to dress the plate, making it look a bigger and appetizing. but it was good, just a few ideas. the secrets were better. the sauce on it was good. could be used with the calamari! it needed a little salt when it came out of the frit while still sizzling to increase it. try this one when they're here! the maine seltzer limonade was good, the coastal hazy ipa was good. the waiting staff was very friendly and the camein was warm and at home. the kitchen is open, so ready for some cooking sounds and communication sounds. I usually like to see the magie, but this is good for some people to know. enjoy!
I've been here several times. It's one of the few places in Portland that accepts reservations during the busy season. They might not be the absolute best, but they are great for what they charge. I always take the same set of dishes. I love their oysters, their claim chowder and their alternative to a traditional lobster roll, a Nor'Easter. It's a warm lobster roll packed with fresh lobster and it's delicious. This time I tried their baked and stuffed lobster and it was amazing. Highly recommend. But do go to their upstairs patio, much nicer and brighter.
Great place for a romantic dinner in Portland. It has outdoor seating with heated lamps. Our waiter was extremely friendly and courteous. Superb service. The lobster roll was as fresh as it can get. We also tried the ribeye steak and it was delish. This place has great views since it’s on a dock in the Old Port neighborhood of Portland.
Stopped for dinner passing through Portland. Asked for seating by front of fire and they delivered, table right in front of the fireplace. Our server Elise was amazing: personable, knowledgeable, local and so fast. Food was fresh, great portions and delicious.
Our group was greeted and seated immediately. We sat up stairs on the patio outside. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The views of the water were nice. All of our food was very good.
