730 Rest Inc - Freeport

A couple of friends told me about the place so I’ve decided to visit with some friends. Was very pleasantly surprised by the food and service! Will be back.

Service was good. They have a cute setup out back. We got the large seafood platter. Overall it was average. We’ve had better, but it wasn’t bad. Our waitress was nice.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices Great at Lunch time with their 'Quick Bites ' menu available before 5:00PM. About $15.00 gets you entree, non-alcohol beverage, and one side. Even less expensive if you only order the entree!

While this place doesn't have the curb appeal of many of the restaurants on the Nautical Mile, the food stacks up with almost all of them. We almost didn't go there because my wife thought it looked a bit dark and depressing from the outside (it was a cold winter night and the place was mostly empty), but we gave it a shot and we're glad we did. It's not fancy, but was much more inviting on the inside. And the food was excellent. The shrimp was tremendous and I had an oyster po-boy that was so good I started taking tiny bites just to make it last longer. All for a much lower cost than most of the overpriced places along the Nautical Mile.
