I noticed that this food truck would be at the Jackson outlets near me, so I had to stop by and give it a try. I ordered the connectivity lobster roll and the lobster tots. The roll was delicious and packed with lobster, while the tots were excellent as well. There was plenty of lobster on them, and the sauce was fantastic. The service was wonderful, with very friendly staff. I will definitely be back! View all feedback.
What Lina F doesn't like about Cousins Maine Lobster Freehold:
As a lobster roll enthusiast, I was thrilled to see the truck in our community. My expectations were high since I haven't found a lobster roll that compares to the amazing ones I used to enjoy in a restaurant in Boston. I felt that the roll could have had a bit more lobster meat and flavor for the price, and the mayo was simply spread on the bun rather than being mixed in. However, the New England clam chowder was ta... View all feedback.
They're only open on Wednesdays, but it's definitely worth the wait! This restaurant has been featured on the Food Network and Shark Tank! As a local spot, it's absolutely amazing! I had the lobster quesadilla, and my boyfriend had the grilled lobster. They were so delicious that we completely forgot to take any photos. I highly recommend this place!
I visited the Laurita Winery Food Truck Festival yesterday and tried the drums—they were fantastic! I also had the Connecticut roll, which was delicious! My only issue is that I placed my order and received a bag with the roll in it within just 5 seconds. I would have preferred it not to be pre-packaged. At $23 for a roll, I expected a bit more.
The Connecticut lobster was incredibly delicious. However, I don’t mind paying the nearly $20 price, especially when it usually comes with a side and/or a drink. The issue was that the sandwich was very small and lacked substance. It came with a bit of coleslaw, a few French fries, and maybe a drink? Honestly, it wouldn’t even be enough to satisfy a 10-year-old for lunch. But the flavor was fantastic!
It was good to find the place because I made a mistake, but we were thrilled to finally try it because we have heard such positive reviews from family and friends. we ordered a lot to try. Connecticut roles were delicious and probably my favorites. huge lobster. lobster bisque was ok, was good, but not much lobster. clam chowder was good. the lobster quesadilla also had lobster bites. not a fan of the huropie pies, thought the filling was a bit of a kick. I'm sure the rolls. space is expensive, almost $20 for a roll, but it occasionally worth it.
Lobster roll was super tasty but for 20 bucks, I'd expect more. Ate the entire thing in 3 bites. Super tiny and not worth the price. You can goto Redhook in Brooklyn and get a bigger lobster roll with fries for the same price
