Food wasn’t good. Didn’t get what we ordered the first time so had to reorder. French toast was soggy and wasn’t good. Went to IHOP after tasting the food. Probably won’t be returning
I drove downtown, paid to park, and walked there with my child only to find that it is closed AGAIN during their open business hours per Google and per the sign on the door. I'm frustrated and don't plan to try again at this point.
I 'm not from Frederick so I thought I 'd try a new place for brunch, especially since I love donuts. After standing in line for 30 minutes, I finally got to order my donut. They were out of donuts. That 's right a donut shop was out of donuts. So I ordered something else that probably takes all of 5 minutes to prepare. After I sat and waited for my food for another 45 more minutes, I finally went up and kindly asked for my money back so I could leave because I couldn 't wait any longer. Oh your food just finished, was the reply. So I took my food and left without getting my money back and threw my food in the trash when I got home. This place is a joke. There are so many other nice places to eat in Frederick. Unless you 've got hours to spare for some unidentifiable food on a couple slices of white bread, go anywhere else!
Pretty good food. Had the fried French toast, didn't realize till later it was vegan (not a concern for me, but I know some people will like this). Tasted great, though a little rich for me. Mixed drinks, by that I mean the orange/pineapple juice drink was good. Though if you prefer water, it's straight from tap. They don't hide that, but it's very noticeable, more so than in other restaurants I've been in. Staff is friendly; 3 minute walk from Carrol Creek Park.
This place is a gem. Not only is the space welcoming and colorful but all the food they serve is plant based and tastes incredible. I ordered the French toast which was the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy. My wife ordered Huevos Rancheros and they were also heavenly. The eggs were seasoned to perfection and tasted like they were made with corn meal which gave them more of a fluffy and scrambled texture that was filling and kept us going back for more. They even make doughnuts and tea! If you are ever in MD you have to check out this spot. Can 't wait to go back for another delicious bite.
