I came across this lovely coffee shop and was immediately captivated by the delightful scent of freshly brewed coffee. The coffee was outstanding, and I intend to try some of their donuts during my next visit. The ambiance is absolutely charming. Update January 2022: This time, I decided to sample the tea along with a donut. The donut was amazing—fresh, light, and fluffy. I was also happy to find out that they offer and sell ethically sourced coffee and tea.
I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful café twice during my Christmas vacation from Ottawa (I’m originally from Fredericton), and I can’t recommend Mill Town Roasters highly enough to my family and friends! I tried their ham breakfast sandwich and absolutely loved it. I also purchased a bag of their light roast Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which quickly became my favorite coffee—it's incredibly delicious in my French press, and I've been enjoying it every day! I initially brought home two bags, but I ran out today. When I learned they offer free delivery across Canada for orders over $40, I knew I had to replenish my stock! I’ve already gone through at least four bags; I just can’t get enough of the aroma and flavor. I’m eagerly looking forward to the arrival of four more bags soon. My order was confirmed, shipped, and I received a tracking email within three hours of placing it. I can’t wait to savor a little piece of home again!
This was the first coffee shop I went to after moving to Fredericton, and I felt incredibly welcomed right from the start! The brick architecture and lighting are stunning, and each time I visit, I'm greeted with a friendly smile. The coffee is quite delicious as well!
I guess not tipping on a 20 second transaction to buy some beans off the shelf is offensive. I was cheerful and thankful but the server snubbed me, and refused to look at me once I paid. Such contempt on her face, unbelievable. I tried to shop local, butI'll return to online orders. Edit: bumped to three stars as the business owner cares enough to address the problem.
The actual espresso in my drink was nice and my breakfast sandwich was good. Unfortunately the milk in my drink was scalded so the whole thing tasted burnt. The ordering system was also confusing. No names or numbers were given and I watched multiplepeople get the wrong order or have an order missed. Seems strange to be so close to great but really fail on the details.
