Numerous reviews highlight issues such as cold, rubbery fries, inconsistent chicken sizes, and disappointing cleanliness. This is the best KFC in New Brunswick! The chicken always tastes better, and it’s usually hot and fresh. The staff are fantastic as well. I’m always satisfied when I visit this location, which is also famous for its delicious gravy. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Kfc:
The fries haven't changed; they're still quite dry like they were a few years ago, and the chicken was just average. If you go for the bucket of chicken, you might have a better experience. View all feedback.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The staff is incredibly unreliable, although there is one exceptional worker at this location. Unfortunately, the food quality is the worst I've experienced at any fast food restaurant. It's widely recognized as the worst KFC in the city, as the parking lot and drive-thru are usually empty. It's definitely worth the trip across the river to find a better location, like the one in the mall or on Prospect.
Terrible and slow customer service. They consistently make you wait much longer than necessary. I recommend going to the KFC on Prospect instead; it's much better.
They don't offer hot sauce at this location a d offered me ketchup with my wings instead.
The staff are generally open, friendly, and accommodating with your orders, readily addressing any mistakes with your meal. We ordered two popcorn chicken poutines but received one poutine and a popcorn chicken with a medium fry on the side. However, they quickly corrected the mistake and even let us keep the incorrect order. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious. I appreciated that they let me inspect the lettuce, which was fresh and green. Just be prepared to wait about 30 minutes for freshly prepared chicken. One downside is that their phone is on mute, making it impossible to call in your order. Additionally, half of the dining area is closed after around 8:30 PM, and napkins are only provided upon request. The space can feel cramped and the tables often appear unclean, even during slow hours. I also noticed a container of cold sanitizer sitting outside near the drink fountain, which I found unappealing. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working either, and it seems the staff isn’t concerned about having their phone muted. Despite these issues, the staff is friendly and respond well to feedback.
