The good;A few decent organic veg, chicken vendors,The average;Only two decent food vendors(outside),The regular crafts folks,The ugly;Only open until only once a week until 1pm with many vendors well on their way out by 12-12:30???Too small a venue,Not nearly enough parking spots, especially in the winter with all of that snow taking over about half the parking spots. Whenever I visit my hometown, I always make sure to be there on a Saturday to visit Boyce Farmer's Market. I never miss out on getting samosas, no matter how long the wait is. I also stock up on cheese from the fantastic cheese shop and pick up some other local treats. It's a place I will keep coming back to, no matter where in Canada I may be living.
I have been visiting this market since I was a child. It is my favorite place for ready-made food. The food is not only delicious, but it also holds a special place in my heart as a tradition.
It's all good Thai, Korean, Greek, German, Indian for Butter Chicken. The Samosas have dropped in quality since the business was sold and I avoid them now.
I enjoyed our visit to the Farmers Market in Fredericton. Good variety, and fabulous coffee from Whitney artisan coffee roasters.
