Dimitri's Souvlaki Restaurant

Was there last week for my birthday. Food is always consistently fresh tasting and just plain yum! I recommend the slouvaki chicken plate. Half rice half Greek potatoes. Pita. And you’ll need extra tzatziki cause it’s so very yum.

I ordered the most expensive platter on the menu to go (seafood, chicken and lamb) served on rice and baked potatoes with tiny pieces of sweet peppers and onion. It was dry, no flavours at all and very salty for the meat. So disturbing I genuinely thought I had Covid and I lost my taste, but I didn’t. The waitress was nice and friendly even if she forgot the ustensiles in the bag ; the other ladies working there were not welcoming.

Not many people in the Restaurant, but 5hey we’re doing a hopping Take out business! Not great for the wait staff depending on tips. Food was just ok, service was prompt and very friendly. They followed all of the new restrictions.

Recommended, I am a huge Greek fan.. A girlfriend and I met up here for lunch. What a good place, cute, simple atmosphere. I almost couldnt find it tucked in among a bunch of places... I am so glad I did find it! The menu isnt huge, but enough selection. Relaxing environment, plain.. A great place for a lunch date, meet up, I could see business too. The helpings were huge, price was right and I had a take out container for the road! Server was nice. This was a good overall experience. Food reminded me of a good old fashioned Canadian and Greek place by ma and pa because of the way the food was overall, their menu was on the small side and mainly geared towards an old school group, the food was good though and the portion size was huge. chicken souvlaki , pita with seasoned potatoes were good too, good value, left full and satisfied.

Not Greek at all. Everything tasted the same and was way over cooked. Super disappointing! Mushroom gravy on beef? Really?
